Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the DAZZE Cam mobile application (“App”) provided by the developer identified on the Apple App Store (collectively, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The service
DAZZe Cam is a creative photography app that lets you:
- Capture photos with real-time vintage-style camera filters;
- Import photos from your library and edit them with the same presets and adjustments;
- Apply effects such as light leaks, dust overlays, grain, vignette, and optional Polaroid-style frames;
- Store captures in an on-device Gallery and save results to your Apple Photos library when permitted;
- Unlock additional presets and effects through an optional Premium subscription.
The App works primarily on your device. We do not provide cloud storage or online hosting of your photos.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law;
- Use the App to build a competing product or scrape our assets;
- Circumvent paywalls, subscription checks, or technical protections;
- Use the App in violation of law or third-party rights.
All App software, design, trademarks, and bundled assets remain our property or our licensors’ property.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases
Plans. Premium may be offered as Weekly, Monthly, and/or Yearly subscriptions (availability and prices are shown in the App and may vary by region).
Free tier. Without Premium, limited features are available (including a default camera preset and select overlays). Locked items display a paywall.
Billing.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Prices are displayed in the App before purchase and are set by us in App Store Connect for your storefront.
Restore. Use “Restore Purchases” on the paywall or in Settings to restore a subscription already linked to your Apple ID on the same platform.
Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us directly. See Apple’s refund policies for App Store purchases.
Subscription management. Premium subscribers can open subscription management through the App (Settings → Manage Subscription), which uses Apple’s subscription interface.
Your content
You retain ownership of photos and other content you create, import, or edit with the App. You are solely responsible for your content and for obtaining any permissions needed (for example, if you photograph other people or private property).
You grant us no license to your photos beyond what is technically necessary to process them locally on your device while you use the App. We do not claim rights to use your images for marketing unless you separately give us written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Create or distribute illegal, harmful, harassing, or infringing content;
- Violate privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights of others;
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or related systems;
- Misrepresent the origin of images or use the App for deceptive purposes prohibited by law.
We may suspend or stop providing the App if you materially breach these Terms.
Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device;
- Edited images will meet your expectations or match any particular film camera;
- Subscription prices, features, or preset availability will remain unchanged.
Filter previews are approximate. Final results may vary by device, lighting, and iOS version.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR PHOTOS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP OR PREMIUM IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50 (OR LOCAL EQUIVALENT), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Apple-specific terms
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the App.
In the event of any failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App (for example, your wireless data agreement).
Changes and termination
We may update the App, these Terms, or Premium features at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may discontinue the App or any feature with reasonable notice where practicable.
