Summary
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the DAZZE Cam mobile application (“App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Who we are
The App is published by the developer identified on the Apple App Store listing for DAZZE Cam. For privacy-related questions, contact us using the details in the Contact section below.
Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to run the App:
- Device permissions (with your consent): Camera access for live preview and capture; Photos library access to import images for editing and to save finished images to your device.
- Data stored on your device: Photos you save in the in-app Gallery; editing preferences per camera preset; onboarding completion status; gallery display preferences (such as sort order). This stays in local app storage on your iPhone or iPad.
- Purchase and subscription data: If you subscribe to Premium, Apple processes payment. We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status (e.g., whether Premium is active). RevenueCat may receive an anonymous app user identifier, product identifiers, purchase receipts, and related transaction metadata—not your photos.
- Technical and diagnostic data: Apple and RevenueCat may collect standard device, OS, and crash/diagnostic information according to their own policies when you use in-app purchases or their SDKs.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or postal address inside the App unless you contact us voluntarily by email.
Photos and camera data
- Images captured with the camera or imported from your library are processed on your device to apply filters, overlays, Polaroid frames, and similar effects.
- After capture, the App may save a copy to the in-app Gallery folder on your device and, when you allow Photos access, to your Apple Photos library.
- When you tap Save in Photo Editor, the edited image may be saved to your Photos library and to the in-app Gallery.
- We do not transmit your photos, videos, or camera feed to our own servers for storage, training, advertising, or analytics.
How we use information
We use the information described above solely to:
- Provide core App features (camera, filters, photo editor, local gallery);
- Remember your settings and adjustments on your device;
- Determine whether Premium features should be unlocked;
- Restore purchases when you use the “Restore Purchases” function;
- Respond to support requests you send us;
- Comply with applicable law and protect our legal rights.
We do not use your photos for advertising profiling, and we do not sell your personal information.
Sharing with third parties
We share information only as follows:
- Apple Inc. — App distribution, in-app purchases, subscriptions, and refund handling through your Apple ID. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat, Inc. — Subscription management and receipt validation. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
- Legal requirements — If required by law, court order, or to protect safety and rights, we may disclose information we lawfully possess (which does not include your photo library on our servers, because we do not host it).
Storage and retention
- On your device: Gallery items remain until you delete them in the App or remove the App (which may delete local app data). Copies in Apple Photos remain under your control in the Photos app.
- Subscription records: Retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their retention policies for billing, tax, and fraud prevention.
- Support emails: If you email us, we keep correspondence as long as needed to resolve your request and for reasonable business records.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Deny or revoke Camera or Photos permission in iOS Settings (some features will not work);
- Delete photos from the in-app Gallery at any time;
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions;
- Restore purchases from the paywall or App settings;
- Delete the App to remove locally stored app data.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data. Because we do not host your photos or operate user accounts, many requests relate to data held on your device (which you control directly) or by Apple/RevenueCat (which you may also contact directly). To exercise rights with us, email the address below.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International users
The App is available in various countries. Information processed by Apple and RevenueCat may be handled in the United States or other countries where they operate. By using the App, you understand that such providers may process data under their own legal safeguards and transfer mechanisms.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or on the App Store listing where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
